Our Core Values

Mission :

To be a family that glorifies God through gospel sharing and service in community.

Vision:

As a family we will fulfill our mission by cultivating believers in Jesus Christ to be faithful to the Great Confession, the Great Commandment, and the Great Commission.

Great Confession -- "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16:16)

Great Commandment--"You shall love the Lord you God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 22:37-40)

Great Commission--"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 29:19-20)

Core Values :

The foundation for our core values is found within our mission statement and the three great statements of our vision. Our core values are not suggestions; instead, they are holy obligations that we each must fully support in order to be faithful to our God and our mission.

Teach Biblical Truth--the Bible is our standard for faith and practice. We glorify God by teaching each believer to be faithful stewards of God's Word (Psalm 119:160).

Share the Gospel--the message we hold is too good to keep to ourselves. We glorify God by sharing the gospel courageously and consistently with the lost around us (Romans 1:16)

Serve Cooperatively as Teammates--each member is gifted and called to unity through service in the church. We glorify God by equipping believers to serve in ministry and missions (Psalm 133:1; Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

Respect all People--there is no favoritism or prejudice amongst us; no "us" and "them". We glorify God by treating everyone as if they have equal value and meeting one another's needs as they arise (Galatians 3:28; Matthew 9:13)

Give Generously--ministry and missions work requires a great amount of energy and resources. We glorify God by giving generously as we are able (Philippians 4:19; Deuteronomy 16:17)

Exercise Faith-- we pray and believe God will lead, guide, and empower us to fulfill our mission. We glorify God by praying consistently together for the lost and for the needs within our community (Hebrews 11:6)
